The man who did this was Norwegian as far as I can tell. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this mindless killing. My family lives in Oslo and my thoughts are with them all. This weill change the Norwegian way of life for ever I'm afraid.
Try to stay positive and look after each other.

I agree, it will change everything.. the life will close down, openess and trust will go. The loss of confidence in one another, dramatic. Everything is connected, and everyone affected... everywhere in the World... the fall-out is massive and knock-on effects, ongoing. All the rules have been broken, the foundations undermined, and the damage is irreparable. Who will trust the police now? How can you tell?
What can be trusted anymore? In the light of current events here in UK, can we trust our police? The Head of Scotland Yard just resigned!!! Can we trust our Prime Minister? No! Police are being investigated now about withholding information concerning Diana's death, her assasination... and so on.
The wider Media and 'Entertainments' Industry plays it's part on this stage... the violence in film that the so-called Board Of Censors passes, is highly questionable!!!

In the silence, the impact is far-reaching... we will become strangers to one another again, as trust and confidence disappears. Political/Religous views rapidly losing ground and credibility, in the shockwaves of these apalling events... they are not something to base our lives upon... not if we want Peace.~
I am deeply sad, for Norway, for young ones and loved ones lost, and the families who have to live with this tragedy, and somehow hold on to their humanity.

Stevie T .... this comment: Maybe the gunman knew something about people in the camp that we don't - what nationalties/religions are these youths I wonder ? Was this possibly a revenge attack for the bombing ?....get a brain cell pls why does it always have to be an excuse of religion or some other @#$% Murder is not explained by reasons. Yr comment hurt my feelings, how do you think the Norwegians feel?!!!!!!!!!!!!! Connect the dots, it appears the same person who shot the youngsters had connections to the bombings.

What human being would kill children in revenge for anything?

If I was the gunman's mother, I would have to go into hiding and there I would die of shame!
